About

Until 1999 Christopher Robin Gray was a hunter/gatherer using firearms and bow/arrow. In the spring of 1999 he had an unfortunate accident that left him unable to use a firearm or bow. He realized that he could continue his activities using a camera. He could still get the trophies on the wall, but they would be free and could still live for others to enjoy.

In 2002 he ended up in Africa, which was a life altering experience and started him down the road of photography. A passion that has continued to grow.

His photographs are made so that others can have the opportunity to see animals, nature and landscapes that they themselves may not be able to experience. In his photography he searches out the light and heart of his subjects.

In addition to winning Tier One award from North American Nature Photography Association,  he also has several Tier Two awards. National Geographic awarded him a First Place in their People Choice English Contest. His Stock Images  are available from National Geographic and Pomegranate.

Having now retired from 3 different occupations Christopher Robin spends his time photographing the natural world around him.

His  equipment exclusively is made up of Nikon cameras, lenses and speedlights.
